Correction / Update:
All Houston County Schools will operate on a 1-hour delayed start schedule on Thursday 3/12/26.  All school buses will run one hour later than their normal pickup times, so students who ride the bus should plan to be at their stops one hour later than usual.
For AMS, this adjusted schedule means the tardy bell will ring at 8:40 AM. Students should plan to arrive before that time so they are in class and ready to begin the school day when the bell rings.  Sorry for any confusion.  
Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel as everyone adjusts to the delayed start.
